All faculty, academic, and classified staff are automatically Campus Members of the University Club. Campus Members are free to enjoy noontime dining and special events open to the campus community. Campus Members may bring guests to the University Club and enjoy access to the reading room during regular club hours.
Please note that reservations, use of reception and meeting rooms, and catering services are provided only to contributing (paid) members.
Additional privileges are reserved for our dues-paying members. All members of the campus community and friends of UW-Madison are eligible for this level of membership. This includes employees, retirees, graduate students, alumni, affiliated individuals, and private sector friends. Contributing Members can include a spouse or partner name with one paid membership per household. Contributing Members may:
Make advance reservations for noon dining, lunch on the veranda, and special events;
Reserve meeting rooms for meetings, private events, receptions and catered events;
Use catering services ranging from coffee and snack service for meetings to elegant full course dinners and banquets;
Enjoy notices and advance invitations for University Club events and special menus and meals.
Contributing Members also enjoy reciprocity privileges with nearly 100 other university clubs in North America, Europe, and Australia through our membership in the Association of College & University Clubs. Most clubs allow access and dining as part of the reciprocal program. Many offer lodging.
Contributing Departmental Members
UW-Madison departments and affiliated on-campus offices members can pay annual dues to receive all of the above privileges and use of the University Club for department business meetings, lunch meetings, recognition events, and special occasions. The University Club is an approved campus food service and can provide a menu of meals at the current State of Wisconsin rate. Invoicing can be arranged for expedited payment; we accept the P-card. Up to four authorized signatures are permitted to sign for University Club services.
The University Club extends the same privileges to our corporate partners with payment of the annual dues fee.
